We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in vascular biology and metabolism to join our ENDO-PLAST team at UMR1011 – Institut Pasteur de Lille. Our research focuses on understanding how endothelial cell dysfunction and plasticity contribute to cardiovascular diseases and cancer progression, with a particular emphasis on metabolism, calcium signaling, and endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndMT).
Your role:
- Investigating mitochondrial metabolic pathways involved in vascular dysfunction
- Working with primary cells and mouse models
- Interpreting data and contributing to manuscript and grant preparation
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members
Your profile:
- PhD in Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Physiology, or related field
- Track record of productivity with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication
- Proven ability to design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments independently
- Experience in an academic research environment
- Proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset
Must-have assets:
- Experience in vascular biology
- Background in metabolism
- Experience with advanced imaging and in vivo mouse models
- Excellent communication skills in English
Plus assets:
- Knowledge in bioinformatics
- Experience with single-cell or spatial omics datasets
