We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in vascular biology and metabolism to join our ENDO-PLAST team at UMR1011 – Institut Pasteur de Lille. Our research focuses on understanding how endothelial cell dysfunction and plasticity contribute to cardiovascular diseases and cancer progression, with a particular emphasis on metabolism, calcium signaling, and endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndMT).

Your role:

• Investigating mitochondrial metabolic pathways involved in vascular dysfunction
• Working with primary cells and mouse models
• Interpreting data and contributing to manuscript and grant preparation
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members

Your profile:

• PhD in Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Physiology, or related field
• Track record of productivity with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication
• Proven ability to design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments independently
• Experience in an academic research environment
• Proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset

Must-have assets:

• Experience in vascular biology
• Background in metabolism
• Experience with advanced imaging and in vivo mouse models
• Excellent communication skills in English

• Knowledge in bioinformatics
• Experience with single-cell or spatial omics datasets
